Description

SAIC has contingent career opportunities for incumbent and experienced personnel for a potential new contract in support of Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic) by providing support to the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Technical Control and Analysis Center (TCAC) Family of Systems (FoS).

These positions are contingent on contract award expected in November/December 2021 with expected start date early 2022 and will be located in Charleston, SC.

The USMC Signals Intelligence Systems SME architects, engineers, plans, configures, deploys, maintains, and upgrades systems across the enterprise. Systems supported may include servers, workstations, tablets, smart phones, and other devices utilized to access and generate data. Tasks include requirements definitions, analysis and engineering, integration activities, validation and verification, operational maintenance, and performance analysis. Will design, analyze, plan, modify, and maintain workstations and workstation components supporting end user computing activities, which enable the end user to access resources and generate deliverables. Works with vendors for prototyping, testing, and evaluation of new technologies. Coordinates with corporate and government customers to develop and determine requirements and adapt to changing needs. Applies a combination of expert engineering knowledge of enterprise IT solutions to design, develop and/or implement solutions to ensure they are consistent with enterprise architecture policies and industry best practices. Leads the design in system specifications, input/output processes, and parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Identifies, analyzes, and resolves highly complex program support deficiencies. Designs, tests, and implements operating systems, enterprise services and management of IT systems and applications. Will manage the endpoint management systems to provide a secure computing environment, to include delivery of relevant and necessary software, relevant and necessary security patches and providing detailed reporting on hardware assets, software assets and current configuration posture. Supports incident response, digital forensics, loss prevention, and eDiscovery actions. Researches and evaluates capabilities, tools, and products against operational requirements and introduces them to the enterprise in alignment with IT strategy. Troubleshoots and solves technical and non-technical issues. May be involved in all aspects of the infrastructure in a classified environment including clients, servers, firewalls, electronic data traffic, network access, messaging, communication services, collaboration, and data availability.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Technical Training in computer systems and hardware integration required for Associate, Engineer and Senior levels
  • Technical Training in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or USMC Signals Intelligence Systems required for Principal and Senior Principal levels
  • Years of experience vary depending on level
  • All positions require a TS/SCI to start work
Platform Engineer Associate
  • Eight (8) years of hands-on experience with Signals Intelligence or Distributed Common Ground
    System to include three (3) of the following five (5) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Data Analysis, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
  • Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
  • Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and/or military experience with Distributed Common Ground System or Signals Intelligence systems.
  • When providing Help Desk support, trainers must have experience training operators on the use of system hardware and software.
  • Training developers should have experience in curriculum development.
Platform Engineer
  • Ten (10) years of hands-on experience with Signals Intelligence or Distributed Common Ground
    System projects, to include three (3) of the following five (5) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Data Analysis, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
  • Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
  • Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and/or military experience with Distributed Common Ground System or Signals Intelligence systems.
  • When providing Help Desk support, trainers must have experience training operators on the use of system hardware and software.
  • Training developers should have experience in curriculum development.
Platform Engineer Senior
  • Twelve (12) years of hands-on experience with Signals Intelligence or Distributed Common
    Ground/Surface System projects, to include three (3) of the following five (5) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Data Analysis, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
  • Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
  • Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and/or military experience with Distributed
    Common Ground/Surface System, TCAC or other tactical Signals Intelligence systems.
  • When providing Help Desk support, trainers must have experience training operators on the use of system hardware and software.
  • Training developers should have experience in curriculum development.
Platform Engineer Principal
  • Fifteen (15) years of hands-on experience with supporting signals intelligence operations, to include
    three (3) of the following five (5) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Data Analysis, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
  • Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
  • Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and/or military experience with Distributed Common Ground System or Signals Intelligence systems.
  • When providing Help Desk support, trainers must have experience training operators on the use of system hardware and software.
  • Training developers should have experience in curriculum development.
Platform Engineer Senior Principal
  • Eighteen (18) years of hands-on experience with supporting signals intelligence operations to include three (3) of the following five (5) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Data Analysis, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
  • Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
  • Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and/or military experience with Distributed Common Ground System or Signals Intelligence systems.
  • When providing Help Desk support, trainers must have experience training operators on the use of system hardware and software.
  • Training developers should have experience in curriculum development.
