Our The Resident Services Assistant at Bishop Gadsden, located on James Island, will enthusiastically provide services and assistance to the residents of Bishop Gadsden. This service-oriented position provides resourceful administrative support to the entire Community Life Services Department!

Responsibilities
- Consult with new residents about cable, streaming, television placement/mounting, internet and phone services, and BG-Life.
- Communicate with Project Coordinator and EVS Coordinator placement of television and assist with scheduling of television mounting for resident move in.
- Schedule orientation to activate streaming device or cable set up with Comcast.
- Communicate with team members and residents New Resident move in information
- Assemble, edit and deliver resident handbook, new resident orientation packet and directory.
- Coordinate and deliver welcome basket, deli tray, all printed materials, and install streaming or cable devices to Apt or Cottage.
- Conduct virtual orientation of BG-Life, new resident orientation packet, and cable or streaming devices.
- Advise resident about complimentary 1 hour of IT Support to assist with computer hook up/printer/ surround sound/ or any other IT needs.
- Provide support to family members during transitions.
- Maintain Guest Room reservations for the Campbell Suite and Mettler Suite.
- Act as liaison between residents and CTC, AT&T, and Comcast.
- Maintain billable resident Services through invoicing.
- Provide and maintain monthly spreadsheet of billable services.
- Schedule and manage appointments for resident education
- Monitor, edit, and create resident database to ensure accuracy maintaining resident changes, phone numbers, emails, biographies, apartment numbers and initial set up of new residents.
- Assist with project production for various departmental and organizational needs as necessary to include: Marketing materials, brochures, and organizational handouts.
- Assist in the update resident contact information, insurance information, and uploading of assessments/legal documents.
- Maintain operation of Resident Business Center.
- Plan and implement innovative and high-quality educational programs for our Residents aligned with senior education development.
Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and written in English.
- Ability to read and comprehend numbers and written material.
- Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and balance.
- Ability to lift and/or carry weights of up to 50 pounds.
- Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are necessary for exchanging information as well as maintaining a courteous relationship with the residents, families, visitors and Bishop Gadsden employees.
- Ability to direct daily activities with little or no supervision
- Valid SC Driver's License.
Required Education and Experience
- College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university preferred
- Two years of experience in education, Training/Development, or an advising role
- Proficient with computer programs to include Microsoft Office
