Job description

Seeking candidate to work full time in the Digital Services Center (DSC) located in Columbia SC. This position includes the goal to convert to a Client employee based on business needs, candidate performance and dependability.

SCHEDULE: 8AM - 5PM shift; 5-day workweek with Saturday and Sunday off

REMOTE WORKING: This position is currently remote for staff meeting key performance targets but could change to full-time or part-time in-office working. Employees will be expected to work in the office as needed for meetings and/or as business needs change.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Summary
Candidates will manually capture utility invoice data and/or validate data that was captured via an automated Artificial Intelligence process. The position requires research and resolution of exceptions raised when processed data falls outside of established validation parameters. Overall, this role requires routine work that follows an established system of operation with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency within the Data Management department.

PRE-TRAINING REQUIREMENT
Utility Bill Knowledge Training (UBK) is a 2-day foundation-level course that we provide to new hires to make them familiar with the utility industry terminology. After successfully completing the course, the new hire will then advance to their designated departments for specific job training.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Manually capture utility invoice data per established processes
•Visually validate data that was captured via Artificial Intelligence to ensure accuracy
•Research and resolve exceptions
•Monitor team email box and provide timely and professional responses
•Work with internal and external contacts to resolve data capture and other errors
•Update systems of operation with tasks performed and relevant data
•Perform at or below Target Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) per Standard Operating Procedures
•Participate in the re-evaluation of current processes and offer suggestions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of each process

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
•Minimum 10,000 KPH/10-Key by touch with less than 2% error rate
•Strong initiative & confidence, willingness to learn & recover from mistakes
•Proficient in Excel
•Excellent time management skills; punctual and reliable, timely with all responses
•Strong research and problem-solving skills
•Strong organizational skills, very detail oriented
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Good teamwork and interpersonal skills

EXPERIENCE
Entry level skillset with up to 2 years of successful experience in a similar data entry and/or data-based role.

EDUCATION
HS diploma or equivalent is required.

PREFERRED:
• 1 - 2 years of vocation/technical training or an Associates degree in a related field
• Specialized skill training or certification pertinent to the position
