Student-Athlete Academic Advisor
Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following position: Student-Athlete Academic Advisor (Student Services Program Coordinator II) in Student Athlete Student Services.
Duties include, but are not limited to: advise/counsel student-athletes; develop individualized academic support plans for student-athletes; provide one-on-one academic assistance as needed; monitor the academic progress of student-athletes; assist Associate Athletic Director, compliance officer and certifying officer in the NCAA certification and tracking process; meet with recruits during on-campus visits to review available services for students; assist with recruiting weekends and new student-athlete orientation activities; and other duties as assigned.
Requirements: A bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience in student services programs is required. A master's degree and two (2) years of direct experience providing academic services to student-athletes is preferred.
