Job description

Morgan Corp. is currently searching for a Recruiter in Duncan, SC.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for implementing cost effective recruitment functions including locating and visiting community/technical colleges, outside centers of recruitment, processing field employee referrals, and continued contact with inactive field employees
  • Develop partnerships with identified schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract quality candidates.
  • Coordinate, set up displays, and make public presentations at schools, community organizations, and career fairs regarding Morgan Corp and promote as an employer of choice.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with hiring managers by acting as a resource to determine and assist with recruitment needs, and providing proactive and consistent follow through on action items
  • Develop new and creative recruitment strategies, techniques, and resources to increase the number and quality of applicants, as well as expand Company visibility in a highly competitive market and industry
  • Write and place job advertising in various media and utilize online recruiting sources to find and recruit candidates.
  • Work closely with management at job sites to understand and support recruiting needs, including but not limited to posting job ads, initial application review, phone screens, mass hiring events for project start-ups, projecting future position needs/headcount based on production schedule, processing employee referrals, new employee hire packets, and so on.
  • Document recruitment activities in the ATS.
  • Perform other duties and assist with special projects as assigned.



Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED required; 2- or 4- year degree in Human Resources or other relevant course of study preferred
  • 2 years of relevant recruiting experience preferred
  • Prior construction industry knowledge and experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Strong organizational, attention to detail, and follow-up skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software programs, email, and internet
  • Professional demeanor, tactful, and able to interact effectively with all levels of management and employees
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive, self-motivated, and a team player
  • Valid Driver's License in good standing required
  • Must have reliable transportation, and be able to travel throughout the southeast (over 50% of time).
  • Able to work overtime and weekends as needed
