Responsibilities:
"Coaching is not a component within the SDR-Manager's role: managing is now a component of the new coaching role".

The Associate Manager - Sales Development role is the first step towards becoming a future SDR leader within Hexagon and developing your skills in coaching. An SDR managerial role unequivocally is a coaching role, how you can recruit, onboard, develop and promote your team towards a rewarding career path will determine the future success of your career within Hexagon. You will be expected to show a high degree of passion, competitiveness, and curiosity to helping your team be the best they possibly can be. We will develop your skills in this critical role through consistent coaching and mentoring.

Individual Contribution (50% Quota: Opportunity/Pipeline/Conversion)

Utilise all cadences and best practices related to SalesLoft engagement platform - 100% all SDR engagement flows through SalesLoft

Develop opportunities for the sales team from prospecting and marketing generated leads

Interact with prospects via telephone and email with a high attention to detail

Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas to ensure territory revenue objectives

Develop and execute on a strong prospecting plan of attack, including email, call scripts and social

Track all relevant qualification and lead management activity using (url removed)

Effectively communicate the value proposition and be able to react to objections and competitive questions

Assign opportunities to appropriate AE, educating rep as necessary about the opportunity

Meet or exceed assigned quota of a minimum of 4 S0 opportunities per month

Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and successfully manage and overcome prospect objections to secure qualified meetings and expand Hexagon's presence.

Managerial Contribution (50% Quota - Team Conversion/Pipeline)

Lead the SDR strategy design, development, support, and all team engagement related to SalesLoft engagement platform - 100% all SDR engagement flows through SalesLoft

Lead a team of 3-4 SDR's

50% of your time will be dedicated to developing your skills as a future leader focusing on personal development, coaching, onboarding, training, and developing SDR's in their new role.

Onboard: Support the Manager-Sales Development and/or Regional Manager - Sales Development to onboard new SDRs to give them an experience that teaches about the product, their role, and the company as well as ensure that they retain that knowledge after onboarding.

Train: Support the Manager-Sales Development and/or Regional Manager - Sales Development to identify and proactively reduce gaps in knowledge, skills, or experience by creating and conducting monthly trainings that not only impart knowledge but engage people so that they can absorb that knowledge.

Engage in Personal Development: Take control of your personal development by engaging in training each year as well as working directly with the Support the Manager-Sales Development and/or Regional Manager - Sales Development to receive coaching and training.

Work with Field Sales and Field Marketing to develop and enhance outbound calling strategies to penetrate target accounts.

Develop and enhance research strategies to target accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and successfully manage and overcome prospect objections to secure qualified meetings and expand Hexagon's presence.

Qualifications:
Individual Contribution:

2-3+ years of proven excellence in business development, inside sales and/or sales

Consistently overachieving SDR quota

Experience in engineering is strongly desired

Experience using (url removed) strongly desired

Experience using SDR engagement platforms like Salesloft would be a strong plus and understanding patterns of account-based engagement through Demandbase.

Experience in the engineering industry and engineering education/Bachelor's degree

Strong understanding of SDR and lead development best practices and procedures

Proven ability to perform successfully and self-motivated

100% reliable and detail oriented. A drive to execute flawlessly.

Positive can-do attitude and tireless work ethic. Driven and self-sufficient.

Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and mentor other junior SDR's

Managerial Contribution:

Experience: 2-3 years of proven excellence in SDR based roles and consistently exceeding quota.

Coachable: We have a strong culture of giving positive and constructive feedback and it's critical that you are comfortable receiving and implementing feedback.

Goal Oriented: You have specific goals you are striving for or specific expectations of who you are working towards becoming.

Desire to Coach: You have an understanding how to coach, and by supporting the Support the Manager-Sales Development and/or Regional Manager - Sales Development SDR Country Manager you will develop topics you are comfortable coaching on.
