Gallivan, White & Boyd, P.A., one of the Southeast's leading law firms founded more than six decades ago in Greenville, South Carolina, is seeking an experienced Billing Clerk in our Greenville, South Carolina office. Serving all of the Carolinas, Gallivan, White & Boyd, handles complex business and commercial matters representing corporations, businesses, and individual clients in business disputes, arbitration, and defense litigation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Prepare Invoicing, i.e., proformas, creating invoicing, processing invoicing, mail, email or e-billing invoices
· Cross-check and validate information
· Follow-up and tracking of billing issues and processes
· Perform New Matters set-up
· Perform Conflict Checks
· Post Time-slips
· Prepare, update, and maintain various spreadsheets for the department
· Monitor invoices in e-billing systems
· Troubleshoot e-billing issues
· Compile and maintain documents/records for all billings
· Willingness to participate in shared office duties and requirements
· Communicate with attorneys and clients re: billing issues (budgeting, matter set up)

Job Requirements:
Education/Experience
· 1-2 years Legal billing experience preferred
· Associate Degree a plus
· Knowledge of Electronic billing systems (Legal Exchange, Legal-X, LSS (various), Counsel Link, EMC, Acuity, Collaborate, Tymetrix360, Collaborati, Legal Tracker, Quovant) is a plus
· Knowledge of E-billing Hub (client mapping, vendor set-up, invoicing) is a plus
· Knowledge of Elite and billing software is a plus
