Job description

This position is responsible for reviewing the Daily Truck Log and Daily Shipping Log to determine status of open loads and priorities for the load auditing and update Daily Audit Control Sheet for each load. Position represents the Company in a positive image working with our employees, customers, and community in a safe and ethical manner to achieve financial success.?

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Moves, stores, counts, locate, and spaces materials as required.
* Position involves the selection and preparation materials as per defined processes.
* Verifies quantities received or shipped against delivery or receiving documentation.
* Uses powered industrial truck to load/unload, and transport materials.?
* May be trained and assigned to operate special equipment per customer service requirements.
* Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
* Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
* Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
* Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to other workers or areas.
* Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
* Marks materials with identifying information.
* Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
* Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
* Arranges product in specified sequence for other workers.
* Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
* Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
* Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
* Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
* Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
* Attaches/detaches identifying tags or labels to materials, cases, bales, or other containers.
* Print and Apply Labels to Boxes, drums and Pallets when required.
* Double Check all shipping paperwork to ensure that it is correct
* Match Picking ticket ,packing slip & BOL that all match correct product is being shipped.
* Complete the Henkel Load Quality Report for all orders.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Requires High School diploma or GED, and 2 years prior experience or training in warehouse/facility environment.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Good interpersonal and communication skills required. Ability to read and interpret documents related to quality data required.? Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.? Ability to communicate effectively using the telephone, Fax, E-mail etc.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to perform basic math functions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving data entry issues.
