WorkSmart Direct is seeking an energetic, professional Business Development Specialist who has an engaging personality and can relate to and talk with people on all work levels - from the plant floor to CEOs. The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through sales efforts. You will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and close business deals while maintaining an extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong business relationships with key decision makers
• Proactively identify new opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to customers
• Develop market strategies by researching lists of high potential prospects
• Manage existing sales pipeline
• Manage proposal and response process, including detailed RFP requirements

Qualifications

• 3+ years' of B2B SERVICE sales experience (account management in this area will also be considered)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with data research and analysis
• Strong Microsoft Office, Windows Operating System, and CRM experience
