Our Talent Acquisition Team is poised for global growth. We are searching for a results oriented Recruiter who is strategically focused on driving business results with a desire for excellence. How you will impact Ingevity:
* Strong collaborator with hiring managers who has the capability to build position description, sourcing strategies, and consulting on the market for talent.
* Responsible for creating an excellent candidate experience, from hello to hire or rejection.
* Ensures presentation of diverse candidate slates for consideration and designs and implements strategic approaches for diversity sourcing efforts.
* Effectively markets Ingevity to candidates by providing compelling information about the company's strategy, capabilities, performance, locations and employment value proposition.
* Responsible for creating a positive customer experience through successful management of the interview and selection process, which includes facilitation of intake sessions, pre-interview calibrations, regular pipeline updates and post-interview debriefs.
* Develops and executes employee referral program campaigns and works to ensure internal talent is aware of opportunities by creating internal slate campaigns and sharing opportunities within our social channels.
* Equips managers and interviewers with behavioral interview skills by facilitating training regularly and coaches team-members around growth areas.
* Maintains networking relationships with other organization's TA teams, local and national organizations to stay abreast of the latest industry news pertaining to TA and talent markets.
* By utilizing networking, market data and other talent data bases, you will source top talent and attract them to our organization.
* Research and propose diversity related partnerships and initiatives to position Ingevity as an employer of choice.
* Develop and support regional and national diversity partnerships that result in brand awareness, talent generation and sustainable talent pipelines.
* In partnership with the Global Mobility Manager, this role will lead the immigration process for Talent Acquisition which may include; working visas, green cards, expat assignments, etc.
What you need to succeed:
* BA or BS degree is required.
* 3-5 years of in-house corporate recruitment required.
* Previous knowledge and experience with employment law, ideally while working under OFCCP compliance.
* Experience in sourcing and building relationships with passive candidates utilizing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Resumes and AI tools required .
* Demonstrated experience recruiting technical roles and functional area roles, ranging from early career to highly experienced candidates.
* Preferred experience recruiting within manufacturing, supply chain and general business functional areas.
* Strong interviewing skills and demonstrated mastery of behavioral interviewing.
* Proven experience developing and implementing diversity recruiting strategies required.
* Must possess strong business acumen and the ability to develop a deep understanding of strategic business priorities, success drivers in the organization, and understanding of the business model and functional operations.
* Exercise of persuasion and influence in complex and sensitive situations within all levels of the organization to effect decisions and outcomes that align with best practices;
* Strong process orientation, optimization and detailed analytic capabilities with excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System (we use WorkDay) is required.
* Proven project management capabilities is required.
