SUMMARY
Primarily responsible for recruiting functions, including but not limited to processing job requisitions, candidate sourcing, interviewing, background checks, and on-boarding activities. Also responsible for supporting the HR function in other areas, such as benefits, compensation, payroll, performance management, employee relations, training, and continuous improvement projects.

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for full life cycle recruiting activities for all levels of candidates to include job advertisements, sourcing, interviewing, background checks, assessments and selection advice. Build and maintain a talent pipeline by developing and maintaining various recruiting sources.
  • Perform various tasks to support payroll and benefits, performance management, employee relations and new employee onboarding as required. Compliance management related to documentation, audits and reporting.
  • Perform various tasks to support workforce planning and development, safety and training initiatives.
  • Provides support for HR related systems including, but not limited to testing, troubleshooting and assistance with configuration.
  • Participate in public speaking engagements including, but not limited to employee meetings, trainings, school career events, professional organizations, etc.
  • Support HR leadership with key initiatives, projects and other related tasks as needed.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or relevant discipline
  • At least 2-3 years of experience managing all phases of the recruitment process; at least 2-3 years of experience in HR preferably as an HR Generalist
  • Strong working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS system(s); Workday experience a plus
  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as familiar with state and federal employment law
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical skills and continuous improvement mindset
  • Able to lift up to 15lbs
  • PHR or SHRM-CP Certification preferred
