Job description

The Location: Northeast Wyoming


The Role

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for the company's daily accounting, monthly reporting, annual financial planning, all while overseeing the critical financial aspects of the company. The candidate must understand various general accounting functions including the order to cash cycle, cost accounting journal entries, reconciliations, Account Receivable, Accounts Payable and asset and depreciation schedules.

The Responsibilities

  • This position is responsible for reviewing accounting workflows and processes and continuous evaluation of such to improve efficiencies.
  • Oversee and review general ledger.
  • Manage all fixed assets in multiple locations.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor/manage cash flow.
  • Develop and maintain financial and operating budgets.
  • Provide recommendations to enhance performance and business opportunities strategically.
  • Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and comply with GAAP, applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws, and financial and tax reporting rules.
  • Ability to present to the Board of Directors, stockholders, and bankers concisely and with authority.
  • Coordinate and oversee outside audits.


The Candidate

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA
  • 3+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably in public accounting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent problem-solver with the ability to make concise decisions based on accurate analyses.
  • Must possess the ability to lead the accounting team effectively.
  • Mergers and acquisitions experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated; driven.
