The purpose of the role:


The BOL Network Engineering team keeps the business communicating! This role helps design and implement BOL network infrastructure and related systems, ensuring corporate users can work efficiently, and production processes flow without interruption. The Network Engineer participates in continuously improving the methods and strategies that help keep the network secure, reliable, and fast.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain and Administer BOL Computer Networks and related IT Infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve network hardware and software problems
  • Monitor Security and Product Updates and Install during maintenance windows
  • Monitor network performance and capacity to determine if adjustments are needed
  • Work directly with BOL end users and plant engineering personnel to achieve network goals
  • Recommend design changes to improve network effectiveness and availability
  • Understand and Monitor security systems to ensure network security compliance


If that sounds like you....here's what we need in terms of education and experience:

  • Minimum of 3 Years of Experience in Network Engineering
  • Expert Knowledge of IP network design, including complex, highly-available on-site switching and routing and inter-site network routing
  • Expert understanding of switching and routing protocols, including stacking, VLANs, Spanning-Tree, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF
  • Expert ability to design modern IP networks using technology such as GRE, IPSec, VRFs, NAT, ACLs, Route-maps, prefix-lists, IP subnets
  • Clear understanding of centrally managed Wireless LAN and practical experience Wifi network deployment and design
  • High level of expertise managing firewall rules and maintaining security at the network edge
  • Strongly prefer Experience in Cisco Switching, Routing, ASA, Firepower, Wireless
  • Highly experienced with Microsoft Servers (Networking)
  • Other duties as may reasonably be assigned by Management
