Responsibilities And Expectations
This position is responsible for the reconciliation of client accounts. The role requires an understanding of financial operations and the ability to reconcile general ledger account balances, including research of any discrepancies identified and other administrative duties. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with superb communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members and clients across the Company's footprint.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Complete daily reconciliations, including coordination of the resolution of any reconciling items, posting payments, adjusting balances, closing, and reopening accounts.
· Identify and communicate reconciling items which cannot be resolved in a timely manner and provide effective communication to clients.
· Complete month-end reconciliation and closing procedures.
· Thoroughly document and communicate all reconciliation procedures and results.
· Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and achieving departmental goals.
Required Skills & Education
· 1-3 years previous financial experience
· Reconciliation/Accounting experience preferred
· Knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Outlook and Excel
· Highly organized and self-motivated
· Detail-oriented
· Critical thinking
· Ability to work independently and make decisions within the scope of their authority
· Excellent communication skills
