We are seeking a motivated, creative, entrepreneurial College Recruiting Manager to join our Recruiting department. This individual will be involved in many facets of our college recruiting strategies, from college recruiting execution to internal development programs to various procedural needs within the department.

The role will involve consistent travel (25-33%), lots of outbound phone calling, candidate sourcing & screening activities, event planning and more.

This is a phenomenal opportunity to be a part of a growing company, a growing department and an entrepreneurial environment. The individual will report to our Vice President of Retail Development and work from our home office in Franklin, TN.

Job Duties:

  • Work alongside Campus Recruiting leadership to support all of our Campus Recruiting efforts, including travel to colleges to help college recruiters gain traction and apply best practices;
  • Intentionally and consistently develop professor relationships via phone calls, text messages, putting together Tom James newsletters/updates, and in-person visits (both at the professors' colleges and via our annual initiative to bring professors to our international sales conferences);
  • Develop and execute an onboarding program to retain our pre-booked hires;
  • Organize and lead our routine webinar processes for candidate attraction and education;
  • Increase our internal referral generation by partnering with the communications department and leading store- and employee-specific referral efforts;
  • Serve as a back-up/cross-trained resource for candidate screening for other department members on an as needed basis;
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience & Qualifications

  • At least 2 years' experience working in a direct selling environment, or with direct sales clients;
  • 5+ years experience leading and managing people;
  • Familiarity with college recruiting;
  • Demonstrated ability to get results through direct, person-to-person sales and/or recruiting;
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving environment where the solutions have to be both developed and executed;
  • Knowledge and experience working within an ATS environment
