As our Human Resources Generalist, you will provide generalist support in key areas including benefit administration, payroll processing, personnel records maintenance, and other HR duties as needed. This position is expected to perform all functions in an effective, efficient, accurate, and confidential manner.
Essential Duties:
- Process new hire paperwork in Paylocity; ensures completion of all internal documentation required for new hires
- Manage benefit administration to include new hire and QLE enrollments, benefit premiums during LOAs, employee adjustments, record updates enrollment changes, assist with Open Enrollment
- Maintain personnel files and documentation in accordance with federal, state and company policy
- Manage ACA process
- Manage anniversary certificates
- Respond to Department of Labor unemployment claims
- Process termination paperwork, including Cobra
- Conduct routine audits of various HR/Benefit/Payroll records
- Maintain general knowledge of applicable laws and regulations effecting HR functions by staying abreast of current HR principles, techniques, and practices
- Process bi-weekly, multi-state payroll for 650+ employees, including manual check requests and quarterly bonuses
- Prepare manual checks as needed but strive to keep to a minimum
- Maintain personnel files and documentation in accordance with federal, state, and company policy
- Production and distribution of departmental reports including compensation, turnover, pay scale analysis, including labor and stats, and other reports as requested
- Reconciliation of all benefit related invoices
- E-Verify
- Perform special projects for management, as requested
- Assist in 401k and year-end audit
Minimum requirements:
- Related Bachelor's Degree and equivalent work experience required
- Minimum of 3+ years of successful and documented Human Resources
- Experience processing multi-state payroll
- Benefits administration experience preferred
- Excellent analytical and cognitive skills
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong PC skills
- Ability to maintain an elevated level of accuracy

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Paycor
