Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing cleaning functions in assigned areas, following established schedules and using prescribed methods. Responsible for recognizing that an area needs to be cleaned and taking the necessary initiative to clean the area; dust horizontal surfaces that collect dust. Responsible for maintaining the assigned equipment in clean condition; maintaining the work area in a clean and neat state; observing and reporting equipment, furniture, fixtures, and building malfunctions or deficiencies in a timely manner; and using own initiative to correct housekeeping discrepancies that are noticed without supervisory direction.

Qualifications:
Ability to understand and communicate both verbally and in writing. Be able to follow written and oral instructions and to record assignments completed in the basic log.
