Open Arms Care (OAC) is actively hiring a Human Resources Coordinator to join its team in Knoxville, TN.

As the HR Coordinator you'll provide support to the HR department in day-to-day operations. In addition to daily support, you will oversee the onboarding process for new hires, handle I-9 paperwork, offer letters, termination letters, and facilitate administrative HR duties. Previous experience in an HR Coordinator/Specialist/Generalist role is required.

Job Duties:

  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires
  • Organize and schedule interviews with OAC managers
  • Maintain HRIS records and reports from database
  • Assist with HR plan procedures and implementation of plans
  • Report on HR metrics and monthly accomplishments

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in human resources or related field
  • Previous experience with new hire orientation, I-9 employee files, HR compliance, termination letters, etc.
  • High school diploma required
  • Strong interpersonal communication, writing, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Must maintain confidentiality
  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Previous experience within healthcare environment preferred.
