Immediate Opening - Maintenance Mechanic

Job description

+ Maintenance Mechanic with strong experience working on pumps, motors, gearboxes, and valves.

+ Pipefitting and welding experience-TIG, carbon steel, aluminum

+ Gearbox-changeout, repair, replace bearings, install

+ Pumps-Centrifugal, Positive Displacement, Rotary Vane, Piston Pump, etc. Must be able to take the pump from the line, teardown, repair, rebuild, weld, paint, replace, and align. align pump using a dial indicator, laser alignment

+ Familiar with pneumatics (some hydraulic equipment but not much)

+ Replacing seals, airlines

+ Ability to read diagrams, schematics, and use a computer system to receive and document work orders.

**Shift:**

The hours are **M-F 7 am - 3:30 pm** with occasional call-ins (call ins would be rotated every 6 to 8 weeks)

Must be available for weekends and OT as needed.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**

+ 5+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.

+ Similar environment/companies to pull from-stinsons, phillips, upchurch, cargill, dupont, solae, or any chemical/outdoor heavy duty industrial environment. Prefers people with that work history vs. normal manufacturing maintenance.

+ Must be able to hit the ground running mechanically. They will not consider entry-level candidates.
