Position Summary
Buckman is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Principal Specialist for its Memphis, TN location. The associate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the laws and regulations associated with the sale of chemical products by Buckman North America
1. Managing the flow of Regulatory Information and Consultation including high level of regulatory knowledge, interpretation ability and use of effective systems
2. Production of Safety Data Sheets and Labels
3. Prioritize, plan, manage, and provide Buckman Associate and Customer Support regarding Regulatory needs
4. Leads and executes Regulatory Team projects as assigned
5. Provides timely submissions & responses to regulatory agencies for Buckman North America - both agency driven and internally driven

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university (science discipline)
Master's is a plus (science or business discipline)

Knowledge and Experience:
10+ years' experience in the following areas:
Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA)
Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA)
OSHA Hazard Communication Standard
Key Regulations Needed to Respond to our Customers - California Proposition 65, Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPS), Global Inventories, Food Contact Regulations (FDA for indirect allowances for paper and paperboard/secondary direct such as boiler water additives; German BfR Recommendations on Food Contact Substances; China GB9685); State substance lists; Kosher certification; endocrine disrupters; allergens; animal derivatives, and many others
Canadian Regulations such as PMRA are a plus

5+ years management experience preferred (leading teams, dotted-line reports, leading project groups)
