Job Summary:
TheStudio at iHeartMedia's is seeking a Animator to join our team in our new fast-paced, collaborative and creative department in Nashville. As an animator, you're great at helping turn ideas into compelling animations. You love to work with a team, take direction well and are eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Motion Design Director and Associate Creative Director on all visual animations
• Work closely with a project manager and animators to ensure all deadlines are met
• Manage multiple jobs simultaneously
• Create graphically engaging animations
• Present visual concepts and ideas in an organized, compelling, effective manner
• Provide general assistance to the team with ongoing projects
• Knowledge and understanding of typography is essential as well as Cinema 4D
• Ensure brand guidelines and directives are embraced and adhered to in all executions
• Develop templates and maintain asset libraries for use across multiple projects
• Enhance video content with motion graphics within our video department pipeline
• Ability to work and create independently, but also interpret, execute and improve upon other team members concepts and ideas
• Stay up to date on all necessary programs (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Cinema 4D)
• Continue to learn new tools and techniques that can be applied to your animations, typography, composition and storytelling abilitie

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional experience designing and/or conceptualizing animations for big brands
• Prior experience at advertising agency, production company, or entertainment company a plus
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• A professional level knowledge of industry standard design software and tools including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Cinema 4D
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Must be adept at problem solving and thinking quick on his/her feet
• Strong sense of urgency with sensitivity to time pressures and multiple deadlines
• Strong Type and design skills
• Openness to direction, mentoring and training to improve skills
