Job description
Working within a vibrant international team and focusing exclusively on the Americas territories, you will have responsibility for growing existing individual and enterprise wide subscription accounts, as well as generating new business revenues by selling individual subscriptions and enterprise-solution access to our financial and risk management product, .
The role will involve a mix of telephone-based and some field sales through face-to-face meetings. This is an excellent platform for an ambitious sales person who is driven to reap the rewards of their talents with ample long term career progression opportunities.
Responsibilities Include:
helps our customers keep up to date and make better, informed decisions. With a consultative approach, you will identify our customers' needs and demonstrate how our content will help them keep informed and achieve their objectives. The successful individual will be responsible for building new and additional business through calling requested trials, conference leads, and prospecting for potential subscribers.
* Frequent prospecting calls to requested trial leads, conference leads, and utilizing internal resources to generate sales
* Arrange and execute face-to-face visits to promote our products to potential new customers and client engagement to current customers
* Represent and ensure clients are aware of our entire portfolio online, optimizing cross-selling opportunities and business growth by all methods of communication for .
* Stay informed about the financial markets in order to spot trends, look for new opportunities and establish credibility with our customers by understanding their business
* Ensuring a high level of customer service which will involve training clients on how to best use our products and providing regular usage reports upon request.
* Managing and maintaining monthly and quarterly pipeline, and keeping detailed records of client correspondence on internal CRM system.
* Attending industry events and visiting clients will be required.
Structure and Size of Team
Joining a team of experienced Business Development Managers, you will report to the Sales Director of in the Americas.
Requirements
All applicants must have a valid right to live and work in the US without sponsorship.
* Experience in a sales role or similar position
* Previous sales experience working in a B2B environment, preferably within financial or forexchange sales
* A proven track record of winning new business and growing key accounts
* A proven ability to present and negotiate at a VP/President/CEO/MD level
* Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) preferred
* Hardworking, assertive team player with a positive attitude, high energy and enthusiasm
* Clear and concise communication (both verbal and written) skills
* Strong problem solving ability, negotiation and closing skills
