Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors, the Chief Financial Officer will be a key partner to the executive leadership team as well as the Board of Directors in the execution of the company's strategic growth and achievement of financial goals. We are seeking a highly driven professional to transform the finance/accounting infrastructure, take a hands-on approach in leading the daily operations of the department, and collaborate with the functional leaders in developing and executing strategic objectives for each business unit.
Responsibilities
Play a key role in the integration of add on acquisitions
Manage the finance and accounting function for the business, including tax and treasury
Establish financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems
Participate in add on acquisition due diligence and post-close integration
Oversee the monthly closing process
Lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of the annual capital and operating budget process in collaboration with other members of the executive team
Deliver timely, accurate, and comprehensive financial reports
Drive ERP enhancement
Lead external audits
Complete weekly flash/KPI dashboard, and manage key third-party relationships
Manage HR, payroll, and health insurance functions
Legal and contract reviews for key financial terms
Manage P&C and other insurance programs along with bonding
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting
Minimum of 2 years serving as a Controller/Head of Accounting & Finance/CFO for a similar sized company
Minimum of 4 years of audit at a national public accounting firm; ending at the manager-level
M&A due diligence, post-acquisition integration, and onboarding experience
Exceptional analytical, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Construction/project accounting is a plus
Private Equity - sponsor experience is highly valued
Ability/willingness to relocate to Readyville or Nashville, TN area
