IT Communications Program Manager

Contract to Hire

Flexible Schedule - Onsite- Nashville, TN

$40-50/hr

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Under the direction of the BTS PMO, The Communications Program Manager will support the planning & execution of the client's IT communications initiatives across multiple teams while executing a comprehensive internal and external communications strategy. The ideal candidate earns trust through performance and relationship building, is disciplined in operations execution, has creative ideas for employee engagement and has an extreme level of attention to detail. The individual will be an analytical leader with Project Management experience and the ability to influence (both up and across) across all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate takes initiative and demonstrates ownership in driving BTS and business goals, while being agile to manage change.

SPECIFIC DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES (List in order of importance)

  1. Build out and execute the internal and external communications strategy of the business
  2. Develop and manage internal and external communications (for example, intra- or cross-divisional messages, talking points, frequently asked questions (FAQs), presentations, articles)
  3. Develop communication plans for major change initiatives - both project and operational
  4. Identify and implement new and innovative communication ideas
  5. Manage communications and change management toolsets

BASIC QUALIFICIATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years experience supporting or leading organizational change
  • Experience balancing multiple projects, prioritizing responsibilities, and meeting deadlines

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience developing and executing creative content
  • Exhibits sound business judgment, a proven ability to influence others, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership and influencing results
  • Excellent track record of driving cultural change and influencing organizations through communications
  • Highly organized, Independent, and efficient in ambiguous situations
  • Change Management certification or training
