As an Executive Assistant at Sarah Cannon you will perform executive duties for senior level Director, Vice President or other Executive positions.

  • You will perform complex administrative duties including responding for executive when he/she is unavailable, composing correspondence, and coordinating resources across corporate functions
  • You will coordinate and maintain executive and senior management schedules and communications
  • You will communicate and escalate unresolved issues to appropriate department head
  • You will provide proactive and creative recommendations to enhance the efficiency and quality of work
  • You will coordinate, maintain and continuously update executive's calendar
  • You will schedule and maintain executive's task list
  • You will review executive correspondence for urgent issues and immediately reports to executive
  • You will perform special projects as requested by executive staff or department head
  • You will serve as the liaison between executive and pharmaceutical companies, Sarah Cannon colleagues and all outside contacts
  • You will create and update presentations
  • You may assist with editing and submitting manuscripts, abstracts, articles and other publications
  • You will create and submits expense reports
  • You will attend meetings as assigned and reports on actions
  • You will participate in educational activities and programs where appropriate
  • You will maintain strictest confidentiality

You will need for this position:

  • A High School Diploma, preferably a Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 3 years of professional Administrative experience
  • Experience in a healthcare organization is preferred
  • Experience supporting high level managers, directors, Vice Presidents or executives
