We are seeking a CAPS Specialist for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. • You will provide crisis intervention via phone and face to face assessment.
• You will conduct assessments to determine the most appropriate level of psychiatric care.
• You will communicate with physicians, referral sources and other hospital staff in order to obtain care for patients.
• You will refer people to community mental health services as indicated following assessment.
• You will demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
• You will participate in staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars/professional development as requested by manager.

Qualifications

• RN or Masters degree in related field with experience
• 3 years behavioral health experience
• BLS required
