Upperline is looking for a Clinical Recruiter to manage multi-state physician and clinical recruitment needs in designated markets.
The Clinical Recruiter is a critical team member for Upperline as we seek to grow rapidly throughout the U.S. To be successful at this position you need to be extremely self-motivated, have exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills and have experience as a recruiter. The Clinical Recruiter will own the full cycle recruitment of our podiatric physicians, nurse practitioners and other clinicians in designated markets. The Clinical Recruiter will work with regional leaders to understand recruitment needs and will be responsible for determining the best venues to post and source, proactively recruiting top candidates, building referral networks, interviewing candidates in a systematic way, and managing the entire recruitment process with a keen awareness of critical timelines. Upperline is looking for strong performers who are comfortable in a fast-paced environment, who can handle tasks both big and small, and who can produce a high volume of work and are also able to think strategically. This position is a new addition to Upperline's small Talent Acquisition team, and we believe it's a unique opportunity for someone looking to expand their recruitment skills and be positioned to advance in a high-growth company.
This position is based in our Nashville office with a hybrid structure to work remotely.
What You'll Do
- Full cycle recruiting for podiatric physicians and clinicians in current and new markets across multiple states for Upperline
- Manage multiple workflows at different stages with input from a variety of stakeholders
- Serve as a cultural representation of Upperline and provide a positive experience for all applicants and candidates engaged with Upperline
- Develop and build strong relationships internally and externally to understand all aspects of the hiring needs and ensure overall alignment with Upperline's mission, vision, and culture
- Responsible for posting job ads on appropriate platforms and websites to effectively recruit the best clinical talent
- Review and evaluate applicant profiles and conduct introductory phone screens with qualified candidates
- Proactively recruit top talent through creative recruiting campaigns, cold calling and direct outreach via email, LinkedIn and/or other resources
- Develop and build a robust pool of candidates and referral networks for active searches and in advance of active search needs
- Become knowledgeable of podiatric residency and fellowship programs to connect with and use as a resource to build pipelines of potential candidates
- Identify and interview candidates, present candidates of interest to hiring leaders and manage the entire hiring process from start to finish, including coordination and scheduling of interviews with hiring leaders and other administrative tasks
- Provide consistent updates and collaborate with regional leaders to determine the effectiveness and implementation of recruiting plans
- Utilize and maintain our applicant tracking system to ensure the recruitment process and candidate records are accurately tracked
- Prepare and present offer letters for candidates with direction and input from regional leaders
- Perform other related duties as requested and required
Qualifications of the Clinical Recruiter
- Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years of recruiting experience
- Previous experience in healthcare, recruiting a range of professional services and/or exposure to clinical recruitment is preferred
- Experience in high-growth or early-stage start-up is a plus
- Expertise in utilizing recruitment platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, social media and other networking channels and strategies for active and passive candidate sourcing
- Comfortable generating leads, cold calling, and building candidate pipelines
- Proven success identifying and attracting candidates in highly competitive environments
- Applicant tracking system experience is preferred
- Excellent organizational abilities and can prioritize and work independently with a sense of urgency
- Highly adaptable, possess a strong work ethic and enjoys a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment
- Must understand the importance of working with highly confidential information
- Some travel may be required
