AWD for Business Process/Workflow Managment

AWD® is a workflow/business process management (BPM) application that provides out-of-the-box functionality to support real-time management of workflow, processes and staff, as well as the incoming documents associated with that work. With its open, industry-standard Web services architecture, AWD supports very large production volumes on a highly-scalable platform.

AWD centralizes all documents associated with a piece of work in an electronic folder for easy access and review. Once work is indexed, it is automatically prioritized based on pre-established business rules and routed to the available staff member best qualified to perform the work. With AWD, work flows seamlessly from initiation to completion based on the priorities, service standards and quality controls that have been predefined by business managers. AWD streamlines high-volume transaction-based processing, which is typically labor intensive, as well as case management for knowledge worker functions such as claims, underwriting, and call center processing where access to all relevant information about an inquiry can dramatically reduce talk time and callbacks.

Correspondence system - ACE 10

A process known as advanced claims editing (ACE) applies coding rules to claims submitted through the Availity gateway via EDI before the claim entersthe payment system. This enables a claim submitter to identify potential coding issues up front, and it reduces processing delays that can result from incomplete or inaccurate claim data.
