Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Business Analyst is responsible for financial sales planning and sales data analytics to assess growth opportunities, market development and recommendations/reports to executives and stakeholders. The individual will review, analyze, and evaluate sales analytics using Tableau and Sales Force.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes (annual BDG, regular forecasts) including analysis of performance and exchange and commentary preparation
  • Create monthly management reporting, including robust analysis of actual results versus various benchmarks (e.g. BDG / FC) and at various currency exchange rates
  • Derive actionable insights based on data analysis, discover new opportunities, and optimize business through deep dive analysis on large quantities of data
  • Communication with countries to understand trends, variances, and key risks / opportunities
  • Preparation of ad hoc analyses on key driver of business development to support management business decisions
  • Act as a consultant to regional and internal stakeholders (from Finance / Sales / Marketing) to provide financial advice
  • Analyses and reports must be timely, accurate, and insightful thereby assisting senior management to understand results and / or make planning decisions
  • Understand and maintain various financial forecasting and reporting systems and develop efficient tools based on management demand that support the business and improve current forecasting and reporting processes
  • Support Finance process and system improvements, partnering with global FP&A/Analytics and technology teams, to streamline efficiency

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, quantitative fields or equivalent
  • Prior business partnership and/or experience gained e.g. in Analytics, FP&A or Commercial Finance
  • 2-3 Years Financial Experience beyond University Degree
  • Sales controlling and Tableau is a plus

TECHNICAL & BUSINESS SKILLS:

  • Strong organization building skills, including ability to work across functions, BU's, geographies establishing links across regional entities
  • Strong team player and business partner attitude to work with the countries
  • Demonstration of initiative, can-do mentality, flexibility, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills and experience distilling and presenting complex analyses into action-oriented recommendations
  • Advanced Excel (including pivot tables, functions, charts), PowerPoint and Tableau skills (database knowledge preferred)
  • High result and process improvement orientation
  • Adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently

WORK ENVIRONMENT / CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Work will take place in an office or home office environment. Employee may be required to work weekends and be on-call on occasion. The employee may encounter controlled air conditions with frequent air changes, environmental exposure. Periodic travel will be expected.
