Maintenance Assistant

Job description

The responsibility of the Maintenance Assistant is to help the supervisor address maintenance efforts of the plant, as well as general cleaning and organizing of the plant to ensure the company operates efficiently and effectively.

Inventory
• General Functions
• Assist in maintenance, installation, repair and upkeep of equipment, machinery and the facility.
• Help identify parts or machines the need new or replacement parts.
• Assist in responding to requests by production when mechanical issues have been identified.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete assigned tasks with accuracy and efficiency in regard to time and resources.
• Ability to show up on time and be dependable.
• Ability to be a team player.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Self-motivated
• Ability to assume responsibility.
