Location: REMOTE (U.S.)

Total Yearly Compensation Expected: $70K-$77K (Base Pay $55K-$57K)

Catapult Solutions Group is working with a client in the Dallas area that is seeking a Business Development Representative with 2 years of outbound sales experience and a hunting mentality. In this early career stage role as a Business Development Representative, you will apply your ability to learn quickly and showcase your passion for sales in a metric driven outbound lead generation environment. In this role, your comfort and energy on the phone will exude you. You will be familiar with working off a script and know how to dig deeper depending on the prospect you are speaking with. Your ability to stay organized and on-track will be front and center as you stay motivated by meeting goals and metrics. The end goal - to not only become a company aficionado with deeply developed knowledge and understanding of our tools, services, and the value they bring to our customers, but to also play a part in growing our customer base.

Strategic Value

  • Increase the company's presence and profitability within the mid-sized business segment by:
  • Exceeding projected revenue goals in the assigned territory of customer and prospect accounts
  • Landing new logo customers for company offerings
  • Identifying potential cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Working with delivery and customer success to ensure high customer satisfaction

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for outbound lead generation to both active customers and prospects
  • Cold Calling, Warm Leads, Email Marketing and other methodologies
  • Perform role in a transparent, activity driven sales team
  • Professional phone demeanor dealing with prospects from mid-level management to the C-Suite
  • Comfortable working off call sheets and scripts
  • Metric driven lead generation / lead qualification - Continually prospect for new customers through cold calling and other lead generation efforts
  • Maintain accurate records of all lead and prospecting activities

Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience in an outbound sales environment
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • SaaS experience required.
  • Passion for Sales
  • Background in technology sales or lead generation is a plus
  • Ability to be coached, trained, and mentored toward a successful software sales career
  • Prior success in quota driven sales environment a plus
  • Must be able to work independently, be self-motivated, and think independently
  • Experience using a CRM (SFDC) a plus
  • Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
