Job Description:
The PR&DV - Procedure Operations Consultant develops and publishes clear, concise and accurate documents for complex/enterprise wide process and technical changes for diverse audiences by applying technical writing principles to all types of documentation.
• Translates source material, such as Business Requirements Documents, process maps and/or presentations to procedural information that is easily understood by diverse audiences
• Conducts impact assessments for complex projects using business requirement documents, process flows as well as high and low level design documents to identify which procedures and standards are in scope within all procedure repositories.
• Performs task analyses to create keystroke level documentation
• Creates project plans and go-to-green plans for highly complex projects
• Coordinates across multiple stakeholders to ensure timely execution of processes, projects, communications, and training for large, complex procedure requests
• Partners with subject matter experts to overcome obstacles, negotiating, collaborating and gaining consensus to create streamlined and accurate documentation
Required Skills:
• Well-organized and is able to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with project management or change management
• Strong ability to create and maintain relationships with business partners and subject matter experts.
Desired Skills:
• 3+ years technical writing experience including procedure writing, process design and/or curriculum design.
• Technical writing certification or a degree in Education, Journalism or English
• Financial industry, including Mortgage or Call Center experience
• HTML knowledge
