Summary:

Responsible for driving team performance and getting the most out of individual contributors while supervising tasks related to accounting, ensuring helpful, accurate and timely financial practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform all duties and responsibilities according to the Mission and Core Values of the Company
• Manages various accounting functions including ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue and asset accounting, as well as associated analysis and reporting
• Create financial reports based on data analysis
• Preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations
• Pays sales tax monthly, quarterly, etc.
• Evaluates and makes improvements to accounting processes while ensuring that practices comply with organization accounting policies and applicable laws and regulations
• Leads and directs accounting professional and support staff
• Hiring, training and supervising accounting staff
• Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met

Qualifications:

• Master's degree Required
• Two (2) plus years related experience required
• 1-2 years previous management experience highly preferred
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles, standards and regulations

• Superior data management and data analysis skills

• Possess excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Experience in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel
• Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy

• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Self-motivated

• Ability to pass criminal background check, drug screen and MVR

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
