The recruiter will be responsible for performing candidate sourcing, resume screening, interviews, offer negotiation, and on-boarding tasks for various health care and clinical operational positions. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will utilize various recruitment tools as well as traditional networking and cold calling techniques to source high caliber candidates for our home health, hospice and private duty agencies. This position frequently interacts with high level contacts and has exposure to sensitive information necessitating the use of tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment.
- Implement and monitor recruitment strategies
- Assess needs and prioritize strategies to meet that need
- Partner with operations and hiring managers to develop a plan
- Implement plan with energy and effectiveness
- Use Intrepid's branding strategy to enhance recruiting efforts
- Source and screen candidates for key positions in the agencies
- Maintain a tracking system of potential candidates names and contact information
- Make calls to recruit potential candidates to fill critical positions
- Work with hiring managers to assure timely response to potential candidates
- Respond within same working day to any potential applicant
- Serve as contact person for licensed professional positions ( RN and PT) and leadership position in all ads
- Maintain web site and applicant tracking system
- Add new postings within 24 hours of receipt
- Assure response in Agency to postings
- Consistently seek and develop new and innovative methods for recruiting candidates to include:
- Ad campaigns in market
- Alternative recruiting
- Job boards
- Personal calls to licensed professionals
- Cold calls
- Develop cost-effective recruitment materials and activities consistent with key Intrepid messages and market strategies
- Assure consistent application within all agencies
- Record recruiting efforts to calculate standard metrics for the recruiting process (i.e. time to fill, cost per hire)
- Maintain up to date information regarding national hiring practices, benefits and compensation information
- Completes other assignments and duties as requested and assigned to accomplish the goals and objectives of the Company

- Strong ability to be the public face of the organization, and serve as an advocate for Home Healthcare, Home Hospice and other service lines
- Creative thinker who embraces thought leadership
- Capable of making challenging decisions and willing to take responsibility for them.
- Bachelors in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Psychology or Communications; or equivalent
- Hospice or other health care experience preferred
- At least two years recruitment experience required
