D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Treasury Manager for their Corporate Accounting Department. The right candidate will supervise the corporate treasury function assisting the safeguarding of cash and cash equivalents.

Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Be the primary bank contact to:

maintain on-line banking access
research issues on bank statements
answer all phone requests for issues on the bank accounts i.e. valid check; account overdraft
determine correct account set up for new accounts
verify invoicing of bank fees and prepare journal entries to record payment
prepare all miscellaneous bank correspondence

Letter of Credit Management (LOC):

review requests for new LOC's and verify properly approved
prepare bank request forms to issue new LOCs
review expiring LOCs and amend as needed
maintain tracking spreadsheet by division
verify outstanding LOCs on the bank invoice for accuracy

Supervise staff in performing the following:

open new bank accounts
order bank supplies
add/change authorized signatures as needed
maintain list of open bank accounts
close accounts as needed
prepare bank sweep JE's
prepare quarterly cash reclass JE's
verify transmissions of issued checks to the bank
verify positive pay exceptions and enter payment decision in bank system
stop payment requests and void checks
provide copies of cleared checks

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises two or more employees in the Treasury Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or six to eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
