Position Description:

This role will be part of a team of regulatory and corporate attorneys and other legal and compliance professionals who support the firm's corporate activities focusing on contracting, governance, and other enterprise matters, including intellectual property. The role will oversee the contracting process, negotiate vendor and other agreements, and provide advice regarding and support of firm governance. The role will provide ongoing legal advice to various internal groups, including Operations, Compliance, Account Management and Product Management

Position Requirements:

•Member of the bar of any U.S. state
•At least four years of experience as an associate at a leading law firm or in-house position
•Extensive experience drafting, negotiating, and advising on contracts
•Experience managing and advising on corporate governance matters a plus
•Experience managing a group or department responsible for contracting a plus
•Knowledge of securities and/or commodities laws applicable to registered investment advisers, registered investment companies and/or registered commodity pools, including the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Commodity Exchange Act helpful, but not mandatory
•Experience advising on intellectual property matters, including copyright and trademark issues, a plus
•Strong oral and written communications skills

•J.D. from a well-recognized U.S. law school
