We are currently seeking a passionate senior leader within our Food & Beverage division with a focus on our extensive In Room Dining, Mini bar operations and Good Things. In Room Dining and Mini Bar operations, services our 1048 guest rooms and suites within the hotel providing a luxurious dining experience in the comfort of your room with close to $3M in annual turnover. Good Things, our coffee shop and retail store offers the best quality pastries and cafe favorites on-the-go along with an abundant selection of specialty drinks and an expansive retail operation offering Texas gifts and must-must have travel essentials from great local partners such as Yeti, Austin FC, Austin Spurs and the University of Texas Longhorns.
This leader will focus on sustaining and enhancing the service, product, sales, innovation and colleague development of this $4M dollar operation.
This Director of Venues role is a key component of the Food & Beverage division senior leadership and will be instrumental in driving the vison and culture of the division.

Summary of Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Assistant Director, Food & Beverage, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Lead and manage the day to day operation with oversight across Fulton and Revue ensuring all service standards are followed
- Drive innovative promotions, menus and concepts; creating a destination of choice for both hotel and external guests
- Work closely with the Director of Beverage and bar teams to curate wine list enhancements
- Work closely with the Assistant Food & Beverage Director to present a profitable and visually stimulating retail display.
- Compile monthly beverage & retail inventories and ensure achievement of budgeted cost of sale targets.
- Lead and support the Venues in the achievement of their financial and operational targets
- Prepare annual budgets and administer in a fiscally responsible manner
- Implement effective control of food, beverage, labor and operating expenses
- Assist in the preparation of the annual strategic plan and achieve the goals and targets therein
- Ensure the implementation of standards in guest service, constantly seek out ways to improve product and service as well as increase volumes and profits
- Oversee the selection, training and development of all Colleagues to ensure timely recruitment and career growth
- Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
- Actively resolve gust complaints promptly according to hotel standards
- Actively participate in hotel committees and team meetings
- Work closely with Marketing team to ensure the venues have constant visibility
