Responsibilities:
The Army Financial Analyst will support Army Futures Command in Austin, Texas. The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Review, research, analyze and evaluate program and budget data for Army Futures Command (AFC) and make recommendations for programmatic adjustments.

Assist in the development of program budget and acquisition management positions for the program.

Draft inputs/responses for financial requirements requested from Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA), Army Budget Office; HQDA Assistant Secretary of the Army - Acquisition, Logistics and Technology (ASA-ALT); and AFC.

Draft for Government review, approval, and senior leader briefings with regards to product's out-year funding matters.

Draft for Government review, approval, and senior leader certification, service contract approval request packages.

Assist in reviewing budget estimates for compliance with policies, guidance and limitations established by Congress, Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Office of the Secretary of Defense, HQDA, and AFC.

Able to contribute to and draft for Government review and approval the following products (but not limited to):Smart Charts o Unfunded/Funded Requirements

Program Objectives Memorandum Planning and POM Reviews

Major Automated Information System Reports

Weapon Systems Reviews o Overseas Contingency documentation

Program Management Reviews o Execution Program Baseline

Purchase Requests Forms o Spruill Charts

Quarterly Program Reviews o IT Budget Exhibit

Testing and Evaluation Exhibits o Program Status Reviews

Congressional Inquiries o OSD Inquires

Department of the Army Systems Coordinator Parade Charts o Field Service Agreements

Qualifications:
Required
Experience delivery of exceptional client service
Experience multiple engagement levels with government officials
Experience with strategic and operational plan implementation
Minimum Years of Experience: 7 years
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Business, or appropriate experience
Citizenship: US
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance or Above Desired

Knowledge Preferred:
Project Management best practices and implementation
Analytical mind and strong business acumen
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member identifying and addressing client needs
Capable to participate in client discussions and meetings, including preparing concise, accurate deliverables
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
Strategic and operational planning for key deliverables, milestones, and projects
Articulating complex issues and structuring clear and concise written documents, adjusting style and level of details depending on audience
Identifying and resolving basic business analysis challenges with limited assistance
Adjusting readily to shifting priorities and rapid change
Anticipating and addressing client needs while building and expanding relationships with clients
Proactively increasing the firm's intellectual property via client work, and sharing new material across the firm
Consulting experience with public sector
Advanced Degree in Accounting, Finance, Accounting Information Systems, or equivalent
