Description Robert Half is partnering with a growing company in Austin area who has an opening for a Payroll Clerk who will support the Payroll department in a variety of duties. This challenging position is a great opportunity for a self-starter looking to work with an industry leader and expand their career. The company is looking for a candidate to join their dynamic, fast-growing team who can effectively communicate with both the internal team and outside customers. The Payroll Clerk'Microsoft responsibilities will include data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. How you will make an impact

- Conduct clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc

- Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system

- Configure custom reports

- Distribute and administer reports as instructed

- Update data into spreadsheets and the payroll system

- Contact employees via email and phone to obtain timesheet approvals

- Supply the organization with instructions/training regarding the use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, et Requirements - Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company

- Strong organization skills

- Ability to easily learn new systems

- Previous payroll experience

- Well-founded grasp of Reconcile Payroll

- Foundational knowledge in Employee Timesheets

- Payroll for over 500 employees experience

- Command of Microsoft Excel

- Strong familiarity with Employee Timesheets

- Proven knowledge of Reconcile Payroll

- Review Timesheets experience

- Payroll software experience is a plus

- Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
