Reporting Business Analyst

Position: Reporting Business Analyst

Location: Austin, TX

Position Summary: The Reporting Analyst will utilize 5+ years mortgage servicing experience along with 3+ years' MSP experience to assist business users to create and understand our internal customers need for data. The role will work closely with business users to gather and translate business requirements into to technical requirements for report developers. Reports will drive the analysis and support of development tasks centered around Black Knight's Mortgage Servicing Platform (MSP).

• Translate business requirements into technical documentation by collaborating with management and/or business users
• Manage and update new and outstanding report request tickets, and master report inventory
• Participate in meetings with team members or business users to document prioritization of report requests
• Coordinate the data analysis, data mapping, validation, and balancing efforts required for the implementation of new or modified third-party integrations.
• Review processes and procedures and recommend improvements to management and other departments within the company to increase productivity and quality
• Able to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities
• Assist with creating procedures and documentation of processes

1. 5+ years demonstrated experience in the Mortgage Servicing industry, developing and implementing technology solutions and performing process redesign and workflow analysis, defining and documenting business requirements, systems support, systems administration.

1. 3+ years' experience with Black Knight's business environment and the Mortgage Servicing Platform (MSP) application development environment
2. Experience or familiarity with Microsoft SQL, Access databases, or VBA a plus

1. Strong prioritization and organizational skills, including the ability to maintain several concurrent activities while managing user expectations
2. Able to work independently
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment without daily oversight
5. BKFS Passport experience a plus

Desired Education/Experience: The ideal candidate should be a highly successful mortgage servicing professional with at least 3 years of experience in the Mortgage Technology or Servicing Sector. The candidate should bring the following:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related fields or comparable experience and training
2. Current or prior experience documenting requirements, procedures, or policies
