In this position, you will be reporting to the Accounting Manager, and will serve a dynamic role with responsibility for several areas of accounting. You will develop close working relationships with colleagues across multiple departments spanning both U.S. and international locations and will also serve as the primary liaison between the company and our external auditors.ResponsibilitiesEnsure accuracy and timeliness in accounting related to the Company's revenue and sales commissions processesAssist with valuation of equity awards and calculation of share-based payment expensePerform a variety of month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliationsAssist with financial statement consolidation duties and general ledger master data managementAssist the Accounting Manager and Financial Reporting Manager with SEC document preparation and quality reviewFacilitate interactions with external auditors including handling coordination, communications, and follow-ups with the Accounting teamPartner with the global team on various accounting initiatives including process documentation and optimization and accounting system improvementsReview and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure conformity with Company standards and US GAAP. Implement changes to strengthen internal controls, reduce risks, and increase efficiency.Assist with various forecasting processes, including revenue, share compensation, and weighted average sharesHandle various special projects and processes as delegated by Management, including technical research and specialized reportingCollaborate within a fast-paced team where independent thought and work-product is requiredRequired Skills and QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA license and 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience with growing levels of responsibilitiesDeep understanding of US GAAPAnalytical and problem-solving skills with strong verbal and written skillsIntellectually curious with a willingness and desire to be an agent of changeAttention to detail and excellent organization skillsStrong interpersonal skills with the capability to quickly develop working relationships across teams and to communicate complex Accounting topics clearly and concisely up, down, and across the organizationPreferred Skills and QualificationsMaster's Degree in Accounting preferredEither Big 4 public accounting experience or experience in a multinational, public company highly preferredKnowledge of SAP, SAP BPC, or SAP SAC preferredThis position is located in Austin, TXCirrus Logic is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
