Job Description

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work closely with Product Management, and Sales during the acquisition phase of new customers as a member Client Services organization within Experian Partner Solutions to add value by solving business problems with an agile mindset. You will be responsible for driving detailed conversations on product functionality and integration as well as developing conceptual models, solution proposals, and other documentation as required for platform solutions in support of a customer's smooth transition from sales, through implementation.

Experian Partner Solutions helps 300+ businesses protect their 60M+ customers by building enterprise-level (1) identity, (2) credit, and (3) data breach cybersecurity SaaS products in a white-label (B2B2C) branded format. Experian Partner Solutions and its 'sister' business unit Direct-to-Consumer form Experian Consumer Services, a $900M business segment inside the $5B global information services company commonly known as Experian.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Become a functional expert in EPS platform features & capabilities
  • Gather, analyze, document, and validate requirements by conducting interviews, observation sessions, and workflow process analysis
  • Be a leader of continuous improvement. Define improvements to business processes
  • Seek new approaches to business problems utilizing existing tools/products and innovations as appropriate
  • Author business requirements and other supporting materials to detail business needs
  • Prepare 'as is' and 'to be' workflows, identify high-level gaps & differences
  • Author, contribute, and confirm test plans, scripts, and success criteria
  • Help validate UAT test conditions & results
  • Triage and prioritize testing, post-implementation, and production defects
  • Author training documentation, maintain product information sites
  • Support technology release events, prior/during/post-deployment
  • Demonstrate tools and products to the user community and prospective stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to expand product adoption
  • Properly set expectations of prospective clients, relative to platform functionality on the roadmap
  • Identify use cases not yet covered by our current platform and submit them to Product Management
  • Anticipate positive and negative impacts throughout the organization regarding proposed solutions
  • Contribute to the evangelism, advancement, and improvement of Agile practices throughout the entire organization
  • Experience developing solutions and performing work using agile principles
  • Serve as a team member of scrum teams but also work independently
  • Communicate periodically with executive management regarding the status of current project initiatives and obtain executive guidance and approval as required to advance initiatives
  • Maintain effective relationships with sponsors, stakeholders, and key partners
  • Contribute to the definition and development of multi-year product roadmap
  • Support the definition and generation of project metrics and reporting across products
Qualifications

A SaaS Senior Business Analyst must have large experience with platform requirements gathering as well strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written. The optimal candidate will leverage an ability to quickly grasp new use cases, and acquire new platform knowledge through independent study, as well as interaction with other team members. The ideal candidate will be able to discuss technology through the language of business, know when to be more or less detailed, and evoke confidence in our solutions and technology to help remove any barriers a prospective client may raise.
  • 10+ years of total experience, with some time in a client-facing functional role
  • Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree preferred
  • Excellent communication skills; equally comfortable speaking to business execs, or technology resources
  • Able to think quickly and accurately solutions in the moment
  • Proven experience setting expectations of prospective clients, with varying levels of revenue potential
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
  • Very detail-oriented, and able to thrive in high growth, fast-paced environment
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Ideal technical skillset:
  • Business process and system integration workflow design (MS Visio, Lucidchart, etc.)
  • Knowledge of database structure and queries
