Job description

Continental Collision is looking for our next Shop Manager to join our team at our North Lamar location in Austin! We are looking for a detail oriented, process driven, and outgoing individual that can assist our General Manager of 20+ years to maintain and grow our body shop. Job Duties Include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for supervising and assisting with the schedule, processing all vehicle repairs, and informing administrative staff of necessary changes to that schedule.
  • Overseeing all employees and reports to the General Manager.
  • Assisting in the smooth flow of work in the shop.
  • Responsible for assigning vehicle repairs to production teams.
  • Maintaining company standards of repair quality, inspecting vehicle repairs throughout the repair process, and ensuring that quality repairs are completed.
  • Monitoring and improving efficiency in the production area.
  • Addressing any safety concerns within the shop (ex: problematic, broken equipment) and reporting any issues to the GM.
  • Providing input into company decisions regarding equipment, tool purchase, facility improvement, process improvements, etc.
  • Resolving any insurance negotiation disputes.
  • Performing file audits, reviewing and monitoring estimates on a regular basis.
  • Handling all customer complaints to resolution.
  • Supervising and handling decisions in regards to comebacks, customer complaints, warranty work, etc.
  • Monitoring purchases from outside vendors such as office supplies, shop supplies, etc.
  • Conducting weekly inspections of the facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety of the facility.

Schedule:

  • This is a full-time position.

  • $100k/year.
