Assessment & Collections Specialist:

We are seeking an individual who is reliable, self-motivated, and has excellent verbal and written communications skills. The ideal candidate must have the ability to read and interpret information in the Property Tax Code, must be able to adapt to periods of increased workloads or production requirements, and must be detail oriented. Prior customer service experience and working with the public is helpful. Bilingual is a plus.

An applicant must be a team player and be proficient in the following areas: Math; 10 key; basic knowledge of office equipment; Microsoft Office Suite software. Some travel may be required for education purposes.

Preferred Experience:

1-2 years of working experience in a collection officer position and/or cash handling.

0-1 years High Volume Collections experience.

Knowledge of basic accounting, billing and collections procedures is plus

Minimum Requirements:

Must be a Texas resident, have a valid Texas driver's license, and possess a high school diploma or GED (some college preferred). Person selected must agree to and pass a criminal background check and a drug test.
