About the Role:
In this opportunity as a Business Development Lead, you will:
- Develop the strategy and actionable plan for accelerating growth and expansion of the Corporates SMB Tax propositions
- Personally lead growth initiatives with the support of Corporates SMB GM and Leadership Team
- Lead a cross-functional team including Sales, Product, Product Marketing, Marketing, Partnerships and Alliances and Finance to chart a roadmap of new growth areas
- Own program management of the growth initiatives and champion investment need
- Deliver the growth and strategic plan for the business
- Collaborate with TR Tax teams (Corporates and non-Corporates) to find new growth pockets
Accountabilities
- Identify new growth opportunities (new and enhanced products, industries, value props, new markets, new channels like partners or digital, professional services, marketing, etc)
- Collaborate with SMB sales teams to scale early successes, bring learnings from pilots that aren't successful
- Assist Corporates SMB GM and Leadership Team in creation of a holistic Corporates SMB Tax Go To Market strategy
- Assist the team by facilitating implementation plans and removing organizational barriers
- Drive a shared vision and accountability across the organization to ensure the success of business development initiatives
- Create and sustain connections to the external market and partners
- Provide insights to the business around the wider competitor landscape
About You:
You're a fit for the role if you have:
- 10+ years of experience in Business Development, Thought Leadership, or a related field
- Extensive leadership experience with the ability to build cross functional, diverse teams
- Program management experience with complex, multi-faceted initiatives
- Experience in building collaboration with Sales, Marketing and Product Management on Go To Market strategy
- Knowledge of Corporate Tax market, products and trends; familiarity with TR Tax Products helpful
- Strong communication skills and experience presenting to senior executives
- Strong operational and analytical abilities
- Skilled at conflict resolution and problem-solving to achieve win-win outcomes
