  • We are seeking a Marketing Manager who will primarily focus on developing, publishing, and managing strategies and overall content related to SynchroGrid's products, solutions, services and thought leadership in a variety of formats including, blogs, whitepapers, ads, eBooks, website copy, video scripts, customer case studies, social media and data sheets/brochures. She/he will lead the entire Marketing efforts to provide support and oversight for internal and external projects including, product launches, trade shows, webinars, and other programs. This person should possess excellent organizational and writing skills and a passion for marketing. The Marketing Manager should also be able to communicate orally and in writing to internal audiences about his or her marketing strategy and collaborate with team members across the organization - such as subject matter experts and the full marketing team. The Marketing Manager will also be responsible for maintaining and updating the company's strategic marketing plan.

  • ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • CONTENT CREATION & MANAGEMENT
  • Develop and manage a marketing plan and overall strategies for the entire fleat of services and products.
  • Develop and manage a content marketing calendar
  • Develops strategies on value added propositions
  • Develop, write, and edit content such as blogs, ebooks, white papers, case studies, infographics, social media posts, brochures, web site copy, and other for external prospects and customers
  • Plans, writes and develops brochures and other sales and marketing materials
  • Help develop messaging and design for lead gen activities such as email marketing, web advertising and social media
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice
  • Manage customer newsletter
  • Analyze content marketing performance metrics and revise content strategy based on results
  • Edit marketing collateral to ensure messaging is on-brand, concise, and visually appealing
  • Establish workflows for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring content
  • SOCIAL MEDIA MANGAMENT
  • Developing social strategies for new clients including content calendars
  • Develops social media campaigns
  • Plans, creates and posts unique social content including links, images, photo albums, videos, etc. and other social content that supports existing sales and marketing campaigns (product launches, events, etc.)
  • Monitors post performance and adjusts campaigns based on lessons learned
  • Ensure social media SOPs are followed and SOPs are kept up to date.
  • MARKETING AUTOMATION / LEAD NURTURE FUNNELS
  • Optimize lead nurture funnels
  • Maintains and executes customer-facing emails related to webinars, software releases, etc.
  • Keeps abreast of new marketing trends and techniques that will improve our email, website and social content
  • QUALITY CONTROL
  • Reviewing projects for proofreading and quality assurance company wide
  • Ensuring consistent grammar/style/tone and level of quality
  • DECISION-MAKING LATITUDE
  • Ownership of SynchroGrid's editorial calendar and output
  • Ownership of social media channels
  • *All marketing material is reviewed, so this should NOT impact decision-making latitude. This is part of the editing/approval process. This position would take the lead on developing and executing our ongoing customer communication content (emails, social media, blogs, etc.).
  • QUALIFICATIONS
  • EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, PR or equivalent experience.
  • REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Must have at least 1 year of post-college marketing experience, with a focus on content marketing, product marketing, or sales enablement
  • Must have previous experience in development and executing a company wide marketing plan for products and services
  • Must have developed strategies on value proposition for products and services
  • Proven background in B2B communications with a strong, demonstrated ability to write and edit incredibly well, and to work independently
  • Experience with working with Adobe InDesign + other Adobe Creative suite products.
  • Ability to travel up to 20 percent of the time
  • Experience organizing and executing conference shows
  • Experience with organic LinkedIn

  • Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorization, structure, content development, distribution, and measurement
  • PREFERRED EXPERIENCE (Not Required):
  • Graphic design experience
  • Video and/or production experience
  • Experience with Hootsuite, Sales logic and other CRM similar platforms
