Job description

We are seeking a Business Development Director to join our growing team! In this role you will lead the Business Development efforts at Utility Concierge by managing the process and the Business Development/Account Management teams. This person will be responsible for optimizing our resources and processes for maximizing lead volume, lead quality, and partner satisfaction.

Responsibilites:

  • Maintain exciting relationships with current partners and develop opportunities to expand revenue, introduce new solutes and build long term strategic partnership.
  • Manage on-boarding new referral sources.
  • Identify and evaluate new trends, categories, concepts, and businesses that will grow Utility Concierge in alignment with long-term objectives.
  • Work closely with different lane leaders (Sales, operations, marketing) to ensure operational success.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for lead generation to identify and engage new segment customers/partners; develop sales strategies, deliver compelling proposals, and close opportunities resulting in new revenue streams
  • Allocates sponsorship budget (i.e. sponsoring partner events), establishes referral fees for partners, and uses discretion to address customer escalations (i.e. compensation)
  • Provides reports on referral partner needs and problems to the leadership team; runs reports on Revenue per Lead, talk time, etc. from Salesforce
  • Responsible for adhering to personal and team metrics such as talk time, verifying quality of leads, partner satisfaction survey results
  • Lead and manage the business development and account management team by serving as a resource and holding the team members accountable for following key processes and metrics.

Basic Qualifications (education and years of work experience in field/area):

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development with 3+ years of experience in managing people

Other Qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities):

  • Relationships with entities whose clients are buying houses creates a huge advantage (examples - real estate brokerages, builders, etc)
