About the Role:
We are seeking a Business Process Analyst to join our rapidly growing organization. The Business Process Analyst is a vital role that will leverage Business Process Frameworks and Business Process Management Notations (BPMN 2.0) to build and enhanced shared services processes. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to produce process deliverables to the high-quality standard set by the BPM function. The right candidate for this role needs to have excellent attention to detail, and must have strong relationship-building skills, capable of establishing effective working relationships with service/process owners and process SMEs across functional areas.
This is a highly collaborative and visible role, and you will have the opportunity to partner across multiple business units/organizations to understand their service delivery, analyze current state and future state to determine gaps, and model business processes on time and according to budget.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Process Owners and Subject Matter Experts to model and document business processes (new and existing) aligned to their service delivery
- Define, optimize, and implement all business processes using BPMN 2.0 (Business Process Model and Notation 2.0) for consistent modeling using industry standards
- Model and document repeatable and consistent process deliverables using industry frameworks such as APQC PCF, ITIL, NIST, etc.
- Maintain the governance and quality of all process deliverables in a centralized process map repository
- Apply process change management practices with the understanding of and assessing the impact of the change and ensuring that all changes are formally approved and acknowledged by all stakeholders affected
- Conduct ongoing process optimization reviews to identify and implement process improvements approved by Process Owners
Requirements:
Must Have:
- At least 5 years of active process modeling producing artifacts and deliverables (levels 2 to 5)
- Strong use of Business Process Management Notations and standards, preferably BPMN 2.0 training or certification
- Experience with process modeling and analysis to independently participate in current state process discovery, to-be designs and continual improvement
- Strong knowledge of and modeling experience with Business Process frameworks such as APQC PCF and/or Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF)
- Ability to leverage process measurements output to assist Process Owners with optimization and further refinement of processes
- Experience with all stages of process management lifecycles
- Experience with leading and facilitating workshops and focus groups
- High level of competence with MS Visio or equivalent mapping tools
- Self-motivated, proactive, independent, and responsive, requires little supervisory attention.
Plus:
- Have conducted value chain analysis which includes cross functional process mapping
- Have leveraged process methodology such as SIPOC, process scope assessment, value stream mapping, Lean principles, etc.
- Have modeled in Business Process Management Systems (such as iGrafx, Signavio, ARIS, etc.)
- Ability to communicate with internal and external process owners, subject matter experts, project managers, portfolio company management, on-site and remote teams.
- Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to extensively analyze business processes and workflows
- Skilled in developing instructional and procedural documentation and presentations
- High level of competence with MS Office
- Understand Project Management standards
