Our client is actively seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead a team of top performers in their Renewable Energy practice in Dallas, TX. This is a full-time direct hire opportunity.

In this role, you will be responsible for the overall direction and completion of utility-scale wind, solar, and related projects.

Job Overview:

Provide leadership and management to the day-to-day operational aspects of key projects.

  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects.
  • Define project tasks, schedule and resource requirements.
  • Manage project budget and analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, billing rates and utilization.
  • Success is measured by the overall profitability and success of the project.
  • Develop and mentor less experienced team members.
  • Conduct team meetings with project team and evaluate and coordinate the project.
  • Both lead and provide support for preparing project proposals.
  • Prepare client-billing information on assigned projects and review billing under the direction of a Project Manager.
  • Identify additional scope and revenue opportunities that relate to the project and participates in business development activities.
  • Manage collections on outstanding accounts receivable balances.
  • Possess a general understanding of software applications utilized by team members during the execution of a project.
  • Reviews contracts and change orders.
  • Provide on-going communication with the client related to the project.
  • Establish goals for the projects and assist with achievement of quality control and assurance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • A Professional License in Civil, Structural, or Environmental
  • 5-10 years of experience in civil engineering, to include project management
  • Experience in client service and development.
  • Strong understanding of financial management.
  • Good mentoring skills.
