Job Summary:
As a Contract Analyst, you will analyze the annual spend on products and services, identify savings opportunities, coordinate completion of contract documents, amendments, and maintenance to contracts managed by the Division Director. In addition, you will assist in resolving customer service issues related to the medical device area.
What you will do in this role:
- Model managed care contracts through the Concuity Calc Engine.
- Performance of ad hoc analyses as assigned by departmental Director, Manager and Team Leads.
- Performs Peer to Peer (Independent Review) for model changes related to rates or factors.
- Completes testing of contract models by service line and keeps documentation of accuracy in permanent calc engine workflows.
- Works with senior members of the department, develop a responsive relationship with customers emphasizing timeliness and accuracy.
- Participate in departmental training and professional development opportunities when available.
- Adds value to Parallon Contract Modeling by producing accurate results, working efficiently, and continuing to grow in the position.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred (Accounting/Economics/Finance preferred)
- Min of 3-4 years of progressive contracting experience. (Healthcare preferred)
- General knowledge of healthcare operations and medical device industry issues
- Financial analytical skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively; demonstrates excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Demonstrates proficiency with the PC, including Microsoft Office applications and others as required
- Some travel may be required.
